Is Google Image Search Save Our Image?

i search images via GOOGLE image-search with Drag & Drop method.

So what's my question is, if i dragged a picture from computer into GOOGLE image-search it will show the result but next what happen to our dragged picture ? which was removed/deleted or it will be stored into GOOGLE server or any other place ...

It looks like they will keep a copy of the image.
