How about Image.HorizontalResolution and Image.VerticalResolution? Like this:

System.Drawing.Image image = System.Drawing.Image.FromFile("TestImage.bmp");
var dpiX = image.HorizontalResolution;
var dpiY = image.VerticalResolution;
